TxEIS is used in
over 850 LEAs statewide for both student and business administrative needs, and
continues to be available outside of the voluntary state-sponsored solution. Each
LEA has the opportunity to purchase the TxEIS software and support from any of
the 19 participating Education Service Centers across Texas. LEAs have the
option to run the software in-house or be hosted at one of the TxEIS Data Centers that
offer that service.
Skip the RFP. In
2012, the TEA completed an RFP process for a Student Information System. A
master contract was created and ratified on behalf of districts, naming the TCC
as a preferred vendor for the Student Information System. This means
districts may contract with the TCC for the TxEIS Student system without going
through the expensive and time consuming RFP process.
very excited to be given this opportunity" stated Ronny Beard, Executive
Director of ESC-20 and Chair of the TCC. "A project of this magnitude will
allow us to take a fresh look at the way we conduct business and design even
better ways to serve our customers.”
The TCC was
